About the Role:
The Senior Case Manager - Claims Expert will play a critical role in ensuring high-risk cases achieve the best possible recovery and return to work outcomes. Working closely with case managers, this individual will apply advanced injury and return to work management skills, together with exceptional stakeholder management skills, to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather information from a range of stakeholders to develop effective case management strategies.
- Apply sound background in claims management experience in the NSW worker's compensation scheme.
- Prepare and attend claims reviews and clinical case conferences to effectively facilitate outcomes.
- Utilize knowledge of medical and paramedical terminology and procedures, including the forms of treatment applicable to injuries.
- Develop well-developed problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Employ strong written and verbal communication skills.
