The Learning and Student Experience Lead will join the Next Generation Graduates Program team in Data61, having the opportunity to support the development and implementation of a suite of future critical capabilities.

This role involves the management, leadership and strategic direction of the program's coursework, including design, development, and implementation of comprehensive learning strategies that align with the program's vision and goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Planning, designing, delivering (with experts) and evaluating the program's coursework, online courses content and training resources;">
  • Reviewing, refining the coursework content, ensuring they meet rigorous educational standards and effectively foster student engagement and learning;">
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to scope, design and deliver creative, innovative and highly interactive learning solutions that meet the needs of the students and the goals of the Program;">

**Key Requirements:**

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A university level qualification in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or similar, and/or equivalent experience in developing or delivering comparable online courses;">
  • Familiarity with topics covered in the Next Generation Graduates Program, including Data Centric Engineering, Ethics, Innovation and User centred Design, Probabilistic Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Quantum Technologies;">
  • Experience in course delivery and pedagogies (e.g., online and blended learning) in a higher education context;">
  • Demonstrated ability to create and innovate content based on instructional design principles;">
  • Demonstrated ability to support student experiences related to knowledge and skills acquisition, learning engagement, learning resources and other related activities;">
  • Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to cultivate effective working relationships and work closely with stakeholders to build new and refine existing learning materials;">
