About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at SkyPoint. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our high-volume Bistro + Bar, as well as conferencing and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure exceptional levels of service and efficiency are consistently delivered, while maintaining high standards of product quality and presentation.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a variety of roles both front and back of house to foster a passionate team of professionals and inspire future leaders.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of marketing and sales initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Monitor and develop systems and processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, legislation, and company policies and procedures.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow and improve our business, working closely with the Venue Staffing and Scheduler to ensure appropriate staffing levels within budget.
  • Recruit and hire new team members, overseeing venue preparation and maintenance to ensure the venue looks its best.
  • Oversee the wider business operations in the absence of other department heads.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years leadership experience within a similar high-volume customer service/hospitality environment, with a demonstrated ability to effectively lead, coach, mentor, and develop teams at the front line.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for delivering an outstanding guest service experience, with experience in instilling and maintaining a positive and professional service culture within a fast-paced, high-energy team environment.
  • Previous experience working to wage and COGS budgets, while driving sales and performance through sales-based initiatives.
  • A proven ability to work across multiple disciplines (event, food & beverage, and guest service operations).
  • Exemplary communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Display exceptional attention to detail and be a highly organized individual.
  • Experience working with POS database systems and competent cash handling/management abilities.
  • Current RMLV or ability to obtain.
