Job Title: Leading Hand

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven full-time individual to fill the role of a Leading Hand in our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume leadership responsibilities in ensuring the quality of life for elderly residents and make a positive impact on their wellbeing.
  • Oversee day-to-day cleaning operations, ensure adherence to schedules and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Develop skills in maintaining cleanliness of both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
  • Support the team in completing tasks associated with cleaning requirements.
  • Contribute to creating a safe working environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance job performance and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday shifts commencing at 7am.
  • Previous experience working as a supervisor in a commercial and/or housekeeping environment desirable.
  • Sound communication skills and good presentation.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Capacity to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
