Facilities and Maintenance Leadership Role

This is a pivotal position within our organization, overseeing the management of facilities and maintenance operations.

  • Lead a team to oversee all aspects of facilities and maintenance, including engineering, risk, and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant Australian Standards and Codes of Practice for site facility and asset management.
  • Monitor contractor works and activities to guarantee satisfactory and safe completion.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties and facilities, adhering to nominated frequencies and platforms.
  • Oversee the procurement process for non-residential services and contracts in line with organizational guidelines.
  • Provide expert technical and maintenance guidance, supporting operational teams, safety initiatives, and asset protection.

Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a similar facilities or maintenance management role.
  • Proven track record of effective people leadership, fostering engagement and support.
  • Previous experience in contract and contractor management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of fire services, AS1815:2012 standards, and associated regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in building codes, hydraulics, electrical systems, lighting, mechanical systems, automation, security, and mobile equipment.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills, focusing on relationship-building and positive outcomes.
  • Background in the facilities, property, industrial, or building/trade industry – preferred.
  • High attention to detail and physical stamina to perform duties effectively.
