About the Role

The City of Coffs Harbour is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader Brand and Communications to play a pivotal role in shaping the City's brand, communications, and marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multi-disciplined team to develop, plan, and deliver impactful communications, marketing, and engagement initiatives to promote the City's programs and services.
  • Create an empowering work environment for your team and promote a positive image of the City through exceptional communications and marketing initiatives.
  • Drive effective community engagement and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  • Implement new and improved business processes within the team and lead the development of communication strategies.
  • Use data and insights to inform and evaluate targeted communication, engagement, and marketing strategies.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field.
  • Extensive experience in leading a multidisciplinary team within the community engagement, corporate communications, brand, or marketing fields.
  • Experience in communication strategy development and the use of data and insights to inform and evaluate targeted communication, engagement, and marketing strategies.
What's on Offer
  • Salary range from $115 K - $124 K + 11.5% superannuation.
  • Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week.
  • Brand new office location at Yarrila Place.
  • Options to accrue flex time and flexible working arrangements.
  • Generous leave entitlements - long service leave after 5 years.
  • Scope for performance-based salary increases.
