About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Audience Growth Strategist to join our Marketing, Audience, and Digital Development team in a pivotal leadership role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement audience expansion strategies to maximize consumer revenue for The Australian and Prestige portfolio.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to deeply understand audience behavior on The Australian and Prestige digital platforms, driving strategic advantages for both current and future initiatives.
  • Provide collaborative and strategic guidance to marketing, product, editorial, and commercial teams, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to conduct market research and analysis, monitor competitor activities and industry trends, and identify growth opportunities by staying ahead of emerging trends.
  • Develop new propositions and content verticals to drive audience engagement and growth.
Requirements
  • Experienced in generating strategic, data-driven recommendations with a proven track record of driving business growth and optimizing performance.
  • Skilled in analyzing audience journeys and content effectiveness, using insights to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • A strong collaborator with a talent for building effective relationships across teams and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • An inspiring leader with a can-do, solution-oriented attitude who thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Commercially astute, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to link audience engagement to business outcomes.
  • Proficient in Excel (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, etc.), with experience in PowerPoint; familiarity with Tableau, SQL, and Adobe Analytics (or similar platforms) is a plus.
