The City of Coffs Harbour is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader Brand and Communications to play a pivotal role in shaping the City's brand, communications, and marketing strategy.

As the Team Leader Brand and Communications, you will lead a multi-disciplined team to develop, plan, and deliver impactful communications, marketing, and engagement initiatives to promote the City's diverse range of programs and services.

You will create an empowering work environment for your team, promote a positive image of the City through exceptional communications and marketing initiatives, and drive effective community engagement.

You will help foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, and lead the implementation of new and improved business processes within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a multi-disciplined team to develop and implement communications, marketing, and engagement strategies
  • Develop and maintain the City's brand and communications strategy
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize communications and marketing initiatives
  • Develop and implement effective community engagement strategies
  • Lead the implementation of new and improved business processes within the team

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field
  • Extensive experience in leading a multidisciplinary team within the community engagement, corporate communications, brand, or marketing fields
  • Experience in communication strategy development
  • Experience in the use of data and insights to inform and evaluate targeted communication, engagement, and marketing strategies
