About the Role

The Coffs Harbour City Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Brand and Communications Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Council's brand, communications, and marketing strategies to achieve our vision and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team to develop, plan, and deliver impactful communications, marketing, and engagement initiatives to promote the Council's programs and services.
  • Create an empowering work environment for your team, promoting a positive image of the Council through exceptional communications and marketing initiatives.
  • Drive effective community engagement, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, and lead the implementation of new and improved business processes within the team.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies that leverage data and insights to inform and evaluate targeted communication, engagement, and marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field.
  • Extensive experience in leading a multidisciplinary team within the community engagement, corporate communications, brand, or marketing fields.
  • Experience in communication strategy development and implementation.
  • Experience in using data and insights to inform and evaluate targeted communication, engagement, and marketing strategies.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range from $115K - $124K + 11.5% superannuation.
  • A permanent full-time position with 35 hours per week.
  • A brand-new office location at Yarrila Place.
