Job Title: IT Onsite Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 2nd level onsite technical assistance to customers on hardware and software.
  • Forge strong relationships with clients to ensure top-notch customer service.
  • Install, troubleshoot and fix desktops, printers, laptops and other computer peripherals hardware issues as well as desktop applications.
  • Manage ticket logging tools and adhere to the ticket handling process according to priority.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 18 months of IT experience or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of operating systems, applications and hardware installation and troubleshooting depending on project products.
  • Mobile devices and networking knowledge is essential.
  • Ability to lift/move computer equipment weighing up to 50Lbs.
  • Skilled in desk side support and PC break/fix including basic administration of Windows operating system.
  • Experience with anti-spyware and antivirus software.
  • SOME usage Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
  • Smart hand support for peripheral and networking hardware including monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, fax machines, scanners, routers, wireless routers, switches, firewalls, racks, cabinets, multi-port data termination panels all under 'Smart Hands' capability.
  • Ability to work with deadlines and complete tasks on-time.
