Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

Overview

Ozcom Technology Group is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to deliver ICT support services to Government schools in western suburbs of Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting schools to manage and support their Information and Communication Technology environment onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical support to schools under Regional Service Delivery Manager direction.
  • Support Department technologies in schools by completing tasks such as device asset accounting, reimaging, deployment, basic troubleshooting, and user support.
  • Work under school leadership and IT Specialist Technicians guidance to provide day-to-day management of tasks and school-based ICT initiatives.
  • Support the deployment and maintenance of Windows and Apple devices.
  • Provide technical advice to users as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of onsite and remote IT support practice.
  • Able to work as part of a technical support team and follow the documentation of others.
  • Windows Server Technologies
  • Network Administration
  • Awareness of Workplace Hygiene practices.

Essential Requirements:

  • Hold/obtain a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Have IT Technical Experience (education sector preferred).
  • Be an Australian permanent Resident.
