We are seeking a skilled Payroll and Financial Administrator to join our team at Australia Wide Trades Recruitment.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing weekly payrolls for 1100 employees, handling payroll queries, and maintaining accurate records. They will also assist with preparing forecasts, budgets, and financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and awards.

Key responsibilities include determining earnings and deductions, processing increases and back pay, calculating leave provisions and accruals, and maintaining reporting for leave, illness, and overtime.

In addition, the successful candidate will process EFT and ATO reports, run reconciliations for the finance department, and complete Single Touch Payroll (STP) processes.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in payroll administration, preferably in a similar industry
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
