About Us

Six Degrees Executive is a luxury retail brand based in the heart of Abbotsford. We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Administrator to join our team.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 depending on experience.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced finance professional to manage our financial operations. As a Senior Financial Administrator, you will be responsible for:

Financial Management
  • Manage weekly and fortnightly payrolls across two entities ensuring timely payment to all staff.
  • Establish and maintain employee records across two businesses ensuring compliance with relevant awards, including leave accruals and entitlements.
  • Calculate and manage superannuation contributions, PAYG, payroll tax, and Workers' Compensation.
Accounts Receivable
  • Generate daily reports for management to maintain accurate receivables management.
  • Liaise with Sales Agents and Wholesale Coordinators for invoice and dispatch inquiries.
  • Manage the debt collection process.
Accounts Payable
  • Process all payables in a timely manner, including weekly processing of payment runs.
  • Manage overseas supplier payments with attention to USD forward planning.
  • Provide regular reporting to quantify USD supplier payments by season.
Month-End Reconciliations
  • Ensure bank reconciliations are up to date.
  • Record routine monthly journals.
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts.
Administration
  • Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the office, ensuring that administrative processes run smoothly.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical acumen and proficiency in XERO.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and adeptness in financial modeling.
  • Experience with inventory management systems: Cin7, Lightspeed Retail X, Shopify.
  • Ability to manage integrated software across all areas of the business.
  • High attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Proven capability to foster collaboration.
