Job Overview

As a key member of the DLA Careers team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Defense Logistics Agency's Information Operations.

  • You will serve as an IT expert, providing strategic support to senior leaders and Program Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver administrative services, including calendar management, travel arrangements, task tracking, records management, and managing information repositories.
  • Develop high-quality presentations and products using system tools for Program Managers.
  • Coordinate and track SAP Platform projects and performance metrics, ensuring effective communication and accountability.
  • Apply complex policies to SAP Platform objectives to meet performance goals.
  • Identify and coordinate assistance across all SAP Platform programs.
  • May serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on small contracts, managing acquisition and budget processes and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

  • Security Requirements: Non-Critical Sensitive.
  • Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination.
  • Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA): Exempt.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, you must have one year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position.

  • Providing strategic support on large organization information technology (IT) programs, projects or applications serving large customer communities.
  • Performing research and providing solution analysis through various reviews and products.
  • Providing program management oversight for system programs by tracking goals, metrics, and performance.
