Project Manager: Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain Expert

This role is responsible for leading Global Sourcing projects and strategy development to drive product cost savings, re-sourcing, and product launches. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in global sourcing with 3+ years of experience in the medical device industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute sourcing projects
  • Develop and implement sourcing project plans for successful execution
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for stakeholder communication
  • Calculate supply chain costs including freight, duties, overhead, labor, etc.
  • Communicate effectively with external providers and internal stakeholders
  • Resolve product, supply, or supplier issues
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Math, or related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in sourcing and supply chain management
  • Proven track record of achieving significant cost savings results
  • Experience influencing individuals and leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of supply chain concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Access
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Work Environment:

This is a mid-senior level full-time position requiring travel up to 20% of the time.
