Senior Food Safety and Quality Professional

The Quality Assurance Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the day-to-day quality requirements of the production area and team are met. This includes overseeing the implementation and maintenance of Quality Systems and processes, aligning with organisational requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all procedures are followed and products are made to the required standard.
- Leading, managing and developing the culture and employee resources of the site with respect to quality.
- Developing and administering the internal auditing program for food safety and quality.
- Liaising with external auditors prior to, during and after any external audits.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- Food Technology and or Science Qualification.
- Min 3 years' experience in Quality Assurance roles especially high care.
- Sound knowledge of legislative requirements for safety, quality, environment, security and insurance.
- A Good understanding of Human Resources Management processes and related basic legal requirements.
