Food Safety and Quality Operations Executive

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in quality assurance and food safety management, with a strong background in the animal protein industry. Their primary responsibility will be to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and customer standards for food safety and quality.
- Develop and maintain robust food safety and quality systems to minimize risk and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead and manage a team of quality assurance professionals to achieve strategic objectives.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new processes and procedures.
- Postgraduate qualification in food science or a related field.
- Extensive experience in quality assurance and food safety management, preferably in the animal protein industry.
- Strong understanding of HACCP and quality/risk management principles.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Able to analyze and present data in a professional manner.
