Employment Account Officer Role

Castle Personnel Services Limited is seeking a skilled Employment Account Officer to join our team in Maitland. As an Employment Account Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities, mental health conditions, chronic illnesses, and injuries to find employment and live meaningful lives in the Newcastle, Hunter, and Central Coast regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with local businesses to build effective relationships and promote our services.
  • Identify and pursue employment opportunities that align with participant needs and expand Castle's presence with local, regional, and inter-regional employers.
  • Liaise with employers to support participants in achieving their goals and outcomes.
  • Assess and address participant barriers to securing employment and contribute to interventions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote and market our services to referral partners, existing participants, employers, and potential participants.
  • Work with a caseload of participants to provide services and support to each individual.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Certificate III or equivalent knowledge and 3-5 years of experience in employment services and account management.
  • Demonstrated experience in employment services and account management, with a focus on disability employment.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to deliver customer service in a variety of situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, and business systems, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in challenging environments and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong relationship management and engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
Essential Criteria:
  • NDIS Workers Check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Driver's license or reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to understand and agree with Castle's Vision, Purpose, and Value statements and apply these values in your work.
