Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to support our Cyber Security Vulnerability Assessment team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System and Asset Mapping: Lead the effort to identify and map all business information systems to physical and digital assets within the organization, understanding interdependencies and their impact on operations.
  • Vulnerability Management Support: Collaborate with IT/Development and Cyber Security teams to identify vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation efforts based on risk, supporting the initiation and implementation of a vulnerability management process.
  • Business Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements related to information system security and asset management, translating business needs into technical specifications.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze current processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement, facilitating the adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to system and asset mapping, vulnerability assessments, and process improvements, preparing reports to update stakeholders on the status of the vulnerability management process.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between IT, Development, and Cyber Security business units to ensure alignment on initiatives related to information system security and asset management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on information systems and asset management.
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability management processes and cybersecurity principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to map complex business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerBI, Excel.
  • Experience with Cyber Security Vulnerability Assessment Platforms (E.g. Qualys, Rapid7 or Tenable).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISA) are a plus.
