Key Job Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional guest service by providing passionate, knowledgeable and friendly interactions at all times.

Respond to guest enquiries and complaints in a professional manner, offering accurate information on property facilities and features.

Ensure smooth guest check-ins and check-outs, accurately processing transactions and maintaining a high level of productivity.

Provide warm greetings to guests, ensuring that their name is used at all times, and maintain a clean and well-presented front desk area.

Assist guests with local attractions information, provide directions as required, and take reservations in the absence of the Reservations Team.

Handle telephone calls efficiently, answering within three rings and adhering to brand standards.

Organize and distribute guest messages and mail effectively.

Record and document guest feedback for the benefit of the Head of Department.

Set up and manage guest accounts accurately.

Reconcile cashier floats at the end of each shift, maintaining an accurate float.

Document all transactions and alterations to accounts.

Come across foreign currency transactions accurately.

Collect payment from guests and issue receipts accordingly.

Ensure all guest details are accurately updated on the PMS system to guarantee correct property information.

Brief non-members on features and benefits, sign them up to the loyalty program, and ensure seamless handovers to team members on the following shift.

Read important communication materials before each shift.

Action special requests promptly and effectively.
