About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Quality Risk and Governance unit (QRG) on a permanent full-time basis in the position of Administrative Support Officer – QRG.

In this role, you will provide administrative support to the General Manager Quality, Risk & Governance, Head of Practice Governance, Head of Learning and Development, and Head of Client Safety and Quality Care, while working collaboratively with the Quality and Continuous Improvement Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for the implementation of the Archdiocese of Brisbane's Practice Governance Framework as required by the General Manager Centacare QRG and in close collaboration with the QRG and other key stakeholders.
  • Actively promote and support a robust and open practice governance and quality care culture as part of the QRG Team.
  • Manage the responsibilities of the role within all current Legislation, Standards and Policy.
  • Undertake all formal reporting requirements relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
  • Work within the QRG to enhance safe and quality outcomes for clients. Provide administrative support to the QRG team.
  • Undertake monitoring, assessment, and reporting information as required by the QRG team.
  • Work collaboratively with the Archdiocese of Brisbane and other key stakeholders where this is in the scope of responsibilities.
  • Administration and reporting as required to support the QRG team to meet organisational objectives.
  • Meeting Minutes for key strategic meetings, and administrative support with planning.
  • In close consultation with key Archdiocese of Brisbane stakeholders, manage meetings and planning for key QRG activities e.g. training, stakeholder meetings.
  • Assist and support research and provide input into all relevant areas of organisational policy and procedure, and practices; as required.
  • Provide ongoing support in the implementation of all relevant organisational policy, procedure and practice; as required.
  • Support and resource the learning and development team in the development and implementation of training; as required.
  • Make recommendations for continuous improvement of all systems relevant to the scope of the role and improved service delivery; as required.

Requirements:

  • Administrative experience in a human service environment essential
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in managing administration in a time driven and responsive manner.
  • Demonstrated commitment in working collaboratively, skilfully and sensitively with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience and capability to develop and sustain influential working relationships with a wide range of informal, and internal and external stakeholders including government and statutory bodies.
  • Sound problem solving, written, and reporting knowledge and skills.
  • Organisational and systems thinking skills and the capacity and resilience to manage competing demands and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgement
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a current driver's license, blue card, criminal history check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and evidence of rights to work in Australia.
