At our organisation, we aim to make a positive impact every day. As an Unqualified Home Care Worker, you'll join a supportive and values-driven team based in Townsville. Dedicated to helping older Australians live safely and independently in their own homes.

You will provide essential support such as:

  • Cleaning, meal preparation and housekeeping to keep homes safe and welcoming
  • Available from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday
  • Domestic support (laundry, cooking, cleaning, household tasks)
  • Offering friendly social support and transport to appointments, shopping or community outings
  • Observing and reporting changes – ensure care plans are up-to-date, keeping accurate records and reporting health changes to our team

Join a small leadership team working independently in the field to deliver high-quality care.

Requirements

Essential qualifications and skills include:

  • A current Senior First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • A valid driver's licence
  • A comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes (Reimbursement of $0.96 per KM is provided for use of own vehicle)
  • Competency in the use of a smartphone
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
  • A current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
