Job Title

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care and support services to clients with disabilities and older adults.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide health, well-being, and lifestyle assistance, support, and services to clients ensuring delivery is professional, confidential, and culturally safe.
  2. Empower clients to engage in their communities, including culturally diverse communities and LGBTIQ+ communities.
  3. Facilitate the use of clients' lifestyle support equipment and assist with daily needs.
  4. Work closely with other Team Members to ensure high-quality service provision.

You will be responsible for delivering services in line with best practice standards, supporting the ongoing empowerment of clients, and contributing to a positive and inclusive environment.

As a Support Worker, you will work closely with clients and other staff members to provide the highest quality of care and support.

Requirements:

  • A qualification in human services or a related field is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or a related field is required, or a willingness to work towards completing this qualification within the current calendar year.
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with legislation regulating professional practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
