As a Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to assist with daily living activities, including personal care, domestic assistance, and social support.   • Personal Care: Assist with showering, dressing, grooming, and medication management
  • Domestic Assistance: Provide light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Social Support/Transportation: Accompany customers to social activities, shopping/groceries, and medical appointments
  • Aids and Equipment: Assist with the use of standing or walking frames, wheelchairs, manual or electric hoists, sliding sheets, hearing aids, and other physical aids
  • Complex Needs: Support customers with complex and/or challenging needs

To succeed as a Support Worker, you will require a minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services. You must also hold current CPR/First Aid certification, a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, and a Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
