Join us in an exciting opportunity for a Senior Process Engineer to lead our In-house Engineering Design team working across a range of projects.

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Process Engineer with a strong background in process design, simulation, heat and material balances, equipment sizing, and developing PFDs and P&IDs.

The ideal candidate will have active involvement in process safety reviews such as HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL assessments and will be familiar with gas processing plants, LNG plants, and power generation stations.

This role requires the ability to implement best practices in plant design focused on cost-effective engineering solutions and integrate seamlessly into project teams at any lifecycle stage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engineering services that meet project outcomes within agreed budgets and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with technically acceptable standards and produce high-quality engineering design deliverables for project execution.
  • Delegate responsibilities as needed while adhering to company frameworks, policies, and higher delegations.
  • Manage and coordinate the design efforts of team members to achieve satisfactory project performance outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Technical Specialists to ensure specification compliance and maintain the technical integrity of designs.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of systems within the division while providing guidance and support to junior process engineering team members.
Requirements:
  • Extensive senior-level experience in the Engineering/Construction sector with reputable engineering or EPC companies.
  • Proven expertise in detailed design, including process design basis preparation, simulations, heat and material balances (H&MB), equipment sizing, and developing PFDs and P&IDs.
  • Active involvement in process safety reviews such as HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of gas processing plants, LNG plants, and power generation stations.
  • Familiarity with future energy or decarbonization projects is a plus, along with experience in commissioning and start-up processes.
  • Ability to implement best practices in plant design focused on cost-effective engineering solutions and integrate seamlessly into project teams at any lifecycle stage.
