Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Program Manager

The role of the OSHC Program Manager is pivotal in shaping the educational and recreational experiences of children. This position requires a strong leader who can foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing high-quality OSHC programs that cater to the diverse needs of children;
  • Leading a team of educators and support staff to provide exceptional care and education;
  • Maintaining strong communication with parents and caregivers to ensure their needs are met;
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards for OSHC services;
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and research to inform program development;
  • Managing budgets, resources, and logistics to deliver efficient and effective services;
  • Fostering a culture of inclusivity, respect, and social responsibility among staff and children.

Qualifications and skills required for this role include:

  • A Diploma in Children's Services Education and Care or an ACECQA-approved qualification;
  • Current Asthma Anaphylaxis CPR First Aid Certificates;
  • Working With Children Check;
  • Knowledge of the My Time Our Place Framework and Childcare Regulations and Law;
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively;
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
