Job Title: Process Operations Leader

This is a leadership role that oversees all processing activities within the department. The Process Operations Leader provides strategic direction, ensuring safe and efficient operation of the mill at all times.

The role involves reporting to the General Manager and achieving steady-state operations aligned with production targets.

About the Role:
  • Leadership experience in gold processing, preferably 5+ years in a managerial position, with a strong passion for leading high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills that foster trust, engagement, and consistent performance among team members.
  • Effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee development skills are essential for building a stable team culture.
  • Strong practical knowledge of gold processing and mineral processing principles.
  • Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
  • A proven track record of delivering results and enhancing productivity through effective leadership.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with incident investigation (ICAM or similar) and team-based risk assessments.
  • Familiarity with SAP is highly desirable.
  • A degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, or equivalent; or progress towards a Frontline Management diploma or similar qualification is required.

The successful candidate will have operational experience in the Australian mining environment and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
