About the Job

We are seeking a seasoned Process Superintendent to join our team at Mt Weld on an 8/6 roster. This role will require you to fly in and fly out from Perth to Laverton.

As a highly valued member of our team, you will be responsible for developing high-level project schedules, reviewing training plans and activities, and assisting the Process Manager in identifying cost-minimizing strategies.

You will also provide relief for the Process Manager where required, identify project opportunities and risks early, and develop solutions to communicate to key stakeholders.

Additionally, you will ensure the completion of presentations including financial evaluations, risks, and opportunities, and foster positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high-level and detailed project schedules.
  • Review training plans and activities in conjunction with the Process Manager to ensure activities are delivered according to plan.
  • Assist the Process Manager in identifying and implementing cost-minimizing strategies.
  • Provide relief for the Process Manager where required.
  • Identify project opportunities and risks early and develop solutions to communicate to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure the completion of presentations including financial evaluations, risks, and opportunities.
  • Foster positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including all employees and customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Process engineering, Metallurgy or similar discipline.
  • Extensive mineral processing industry experience in a leadership role.
  • 10 Years in Mineral Processing including 5 years in Flotation.
  • Commissioning experience.
