**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Perinatal Mental Health Specialist to join our team.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and consultation within the perinatal mental health service.
  • Work with parents and infants experiencing significant mental health issues, including those with severe, acute, or complex conditions.
  • Deliver time-limited, intensive perinatal mental health support through home visiting, clinic appointments, and in-reach services.

**Requirements:**

The ideal candidate will possess extensive postgraduate clinical experience in mental health with families of infants, knowledge of impact on parenting, parent-infant relationships, and development. They will also have experience leading quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation, and advising managers on clinical service development, practice change, and service redesign.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders across organisational levels.
  • High-level clinical advice and education tools or programs for service excellence.
