Perinatal Mental Health Professional

As a perinatal mental health specialist, you will work closely with clients and their infants who are experiencing significant mental health challenges. This role is ideal for emotionally intelligent professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality support to vulnerable individuals.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver time-limited, intensive specialist support to parents and their infants through direct patient care and consultation for severe or complex perinatal mental health disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgment in novel, complex, or critical situations.
- Develop innovative education tools and programs to enhance service excellence.
Requirements:
- Hold qualifications in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Registered Nursing.
- Be currently registered with AHPRA or PsyBA.
- Have extensive postgraduate clinical experience in mental health and previous experience working with families of infants during the perinatal period.
Schedule: Permanent Part-Time
Hours: 22 hours per week
