About This Role

Senior Coastal Engineer

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Coastal Engineer to join our National Maritime Team in Australia. As a key team member, you will be involved in the design and planning activities for large-scale multi-discipline maritime facilities across various industries, including defence, local government, state government, ports, and sustainability.

You will apply your existing experience and expertise to lead the technical delivery of new and interesting projects, working closely with a range of other disciplines across KBR and other partners. Your work will have a significant impact on the development of our nation's infrastructure.

This role offers opportunities for leadership, project management, and business development, allowing you to grow and develop as a professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your coastal engineering experience to deliver concept designs through to construction phase support.
  • Apply your skills and knowledge to drive innovation within the team and provide supervision, guidance, and mentoring to less experienced colleagues.
  • Project manage and/or design manage large maritime projects or teams within larger multidisciplinary projects.
  • Engage with clients, pursue and position for opportunities, and leverage existing connections to win work.
