Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maritime Infrastructure Design Specialist to join our team of talented engineers. This role involves applying structural design, planning, and project management skills for large-scale maritime facilities.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects across various industries, including defence, local government, state government, ports, and sustainability. You will be supported by a range of disciplines and have exposure to new and interesting projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver design and planning activities for large-scale multi-discipline maritime facilities
  • Leverage maritime structural experience to deliver work from concept designs through to construction phase support
  • Assume opportunities for leadership in project management and design management
  • Engage in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client positioning
About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in structural design, reinforced concrete, and steel in the marine environment. They will also have experience in the design, evaluation, and reporting on ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures.

Key Requirements:
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Chartered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain chartership within agreed timeframe
