Job Title: Senior Maritime Structural Specialist

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale maritime projects, including design and planning activities for facilities in the defence, local government, state government, ports, and sustainability sectors.

As a senior specialist, you will apply your existing experience across these different industries and lead the technical delivery of new and interesting projects. You will be supported by and get to work with a range of other disciplines within the team.

We are looking for a Chartered Professional Engineer (or ability to get chartership within agreed timeframe) with tertiary degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering. Eligibility for Australian Government security clearance is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project manage and/or design manage large maritime projects; or teams within larger multidisciplinary projects.
  • Engage with clients, pursue and position for opportunities and leverage existing connections to win work.

About the Role:

This role will see you leveraging your existing maritime structural experience, to deliver everything from concept designs through to construction phase support. You will have significant experience in structural design, including reinforced concrete and steel in the marine environment.

You will be able to actively engage with clients, pursue and position for opportunities and leverage existing connections to win work. Our team works on large-scale clean energy, boating infrastructure, wharf and port infrastructure, and remediation of valuable public assets.
