Job Opportunity: We are seeking a talented and respected engineer to join our engineering team in Australia.

The role of Senior Maritime Structural Engineer involves the design and planning of large-scale maritime facilities for various industries, including defence, local government, and sustainability projects. You will apply your experience across different industries and gain exposure to new and interesting projects.

You will work with a range of disciplines within our partners, leveraging your existing maritime structural experience to deliver concept designs through to construction phase support.

While this is primarily a technical role, opportunities are available for leadership and business development. Key skills and experience include:

  • Experience in structural design, including reinforced concrete and steel in the marine environment
  • Design, evaluation, and reporting on ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures
  • Design of berthing and mooring systems
  • Experience working with local governments, port clients, and/or the Defence sector
  • Demonstrated skills in providing guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff
  • Ability to project manage and/or design manage small maritime projects

Australian Professional Engineer status (or ability to obtain chartership) and tertiary degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering are required.
