**Recovery Support Role Overview


This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others. As a Recovery Support Technician, you will be working closely with consumers to provide guidance and support in their recovery journey. This full-time position requires a high level of personal responsibility, self-advocacy, and hopefulness.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide consumer-driven services that cater to individual needs.
  • Model traits such as personal responsibility, self-advocacy, and hopefulness to foster a supportive environment.
  • Refer and link consumers to community resources that can aid in their recovery.
  • Attend meetings and consumer staffings to develop programs that meet the needs of consumers.
  • Collaborate with coworkers, supervisors, facility staff members, and consumers to ensure a safe and sanitary living environment.
  • Answer calls and messages, receive and distribute mail, and observe video surveillance equipment where applicable.

**Promoting Recovery Model:**


The recovery model focuses on trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness. By promoting this model, you will play a crucial role in helping consumers achieve their recovery goals.

**Qualifications:


To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • Possess a minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Have personal experience with the recovery process and be willing to discuss it as appropriate.
  • Demonstrated skills in human services and in services to adults.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within an organizational structure.
  • Ability to accept supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to work constructively with consumers, treatment resources, and the community.
  • Valid driver's license, private auto insurance, and be insurable.
