Job Summary:

As a Recovery Support Technician, you will play a vital role in facilitating self-directed recovery and promoting a positive living environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consumer Services: Provide consumer-driven services that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Mentorship: Model traits such as personal responsibility, self-advocacy, and hopefulness to inspire positive change.
  • Community Resources: Refer and link consumers to community resources that can aid in their recovery.
  • Meetings and Staffings: Attend meetings and consumer staffings to help develop programs that promote recovery and well-being.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with co-workers, supervisor, facility staff members, and consumers to ensure a safe and sanitary living environment.
  • Administrative Tasks: Answer calls and messages, receive and distribute mail, and observe video surveillance equipment where applicable.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Education: Must possess a minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Personal Experience: Personal experience with the recovery process and a willingness to discuss it as appropriate.
  • Human Services Skills: Demonstrated skills in human services and services to adults.
  • Organizational Ability: Demonstrated ability to work within an organizational structure.
  • Supervision: Ability to accept supervision.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to work constructively with consumers, treatment resources, and the community.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license, private auto insurance, and be insurable.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including MS Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, and an electronic medical record.
