Our organisation seeks a highly skilled professional to lead initiatives that address complex social challenges related to economic dignity and poverty reduction.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for staying abreast of emerging research and trends in the field, analysing policies and programs to identify gaps and opportunities for meaningful participation in society, providing strategic advice to shape grant-making strategies and develop innovative solutions, and collaborating with partners, policymakers, and advocates to build and strengthen community organisations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse and evaluate existing policies and programs to identify areas for improvement and opportunity for growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the social impact of our organisation's initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders on matters related to economic dignity and poverty reduction.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, policymakers, and advocates.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant university degree and at least 5 years' experience in a related field, as well as subject matter knowledge in housing and homelessness, food insecurity, employment pathways, and First Nations communities. They will also have strong analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex social issues and co-design practical responses.
