Critical Incident Response Specialist

The Department for Education is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Manager, Critical Incidents. This individual will be responsible for leading the department's response to critical incidents, particularly those related to sexual abuse.
Key aspects of the job include managing allegations of sexual misconduct in SA education and care settings, as well as collaborating with external agencies such as ICAC, Privacy Committee, OPI, and the Ombudsman.
To be successful in this role, applicants must possess exceptional effectiveness and attention to detail in critical incident response management. A high level of professionalism, integrity, and diplomacy are also essential.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field and a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check prior to employment. This check must be renewed every five years before expiry.
In addition, the incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) or an online course which will be updated every three years.
