Create a significant impact as a Cyber Security Incident Response Specialist.

This role plays a critical part in the protection of digital assets by ensuring third parties adhere to legislative, regulatory, and internal security requirements.

You will be responsible for conducting assessments of systems and processes, providing situational awareness and reporting on cyber security incident status and trends in adversary behaviors to internal and external stakeholders.

As a specialist in the Cyber Defence and Threat Disruption team, you will lead in providing insights and threat detection optimisation, control performance analysis, and act as an IR escalation point for complex and sophisticated cyber incidents.

Your Responsibilities

  • A tertiary degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline is essential for this position.
  • With 5-7 years' experience working in a large and complex organization, particularly in threat management, SOC (Security Operations Centre), or Threat Intel capability.
  • Cyber threat detection, case development, and tuning. Playbook creation, development, and maintenance are also key responsibilities.
  • Lateral thinking skills, curiosity, positive mindset, systematic approach to troubleshooting, ability to work in a demanding environment, good written and verbal communication skills, and autonomy are required.
  • Digital Investigations skills and metric creation and analysis are also necessary.
