We are seeking a highly skilled Incident Response Specialist to join our team. As an Incident Response Specialist, you will be responsible for detecting, analyzing, and remediating security incidents.
Your role will involve identifying and removing malicious actors, ensuring business continuity for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exercise incident handling and remediation processes across diverse platforms.
- Perform malware analysis and develop countermeasures.
- Develop and improve incident detection and response processes.
- Produce high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings for customer management.
- Participate in industry thought leadership through blog posts, presentations, and other public speaking events.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of operational capabilities.
Required Skills:
- Incident Handling: conducting or managing incident response for organizations, investigating targeted threats (e.g., APT, Organized Crime, Hacktivists).
- Computer Forensic Analysis: using forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations.
- Systems Administration: understanding system internals to implement countermeasures and remediation.
- Network Forensic Analysis: knowledge of network protocols, tools, and log analysis.
- Malware Analysis: performing static and dynamic malware analysis.
- Incident Remediation: creating tailored remediation plans for compromised organizations.
- Network Operations/Architecture: understanding secure network architecture and operations.
- Programming/Scripting: experience with Python, PowerShell, or .NET; willingness to learn; experience in other languages is a plus.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Ability to complete technical tasks independently.
- Desire to grow technically and professionally.
- Strong project management and communication skills during incidents.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Industry-related DFIR certifications are a plus. If not available, demonstrate passion and potential for growth.
