About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Jotun Dekorativ Marketing. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to our employees, ensuring that their IT experience is always at the desired level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and support end-users by troubleshooting IT systems and software, registering and following up on technical issues, and providing training to ensure that digital tools are used effectively.
  • Maintain professional responsibility and stay current with technological developments, contributing and recommending solutions to ensure our organization operates with optimized solutions.
  • Coordinate with IT vendors in the installation of systems, devices, and components and troubleshooting problems to enable the smooth running of everyday business operations.
  • Ensure relevant maintenance contracts and licenses are maintained and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance.
  • Be responsible for all technical incidents, events, and service requests that are assigned to be resolved and attended to within the service levels dictated by our organization.
  • Run improvement initiatives locally/regionally, moving users to be more digital than manual in their work by conducting training, developing/integrating new solutions, engaging the business, and aligning to global and regional strategies to ensure efficiency.
  • Provide 2nd-level IT support to companies in emerging markets to ensure support requests are handled efficiently and IT requirements are met as per Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Requirements

  • Tertiary education with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • ITIL Foundation is a must.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Must hold full working rights in Australia at the time of application.
