This role is ideal for a highly organised and proactive individual with strong administrative and customer service skills who wants to make a meaningful contribution to improving the lives of clients.
The Participant Support Officer will provide high-quality support to clients, families, and internal teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The role involves liaising with internal and external stakeholders, managing enquiries and appointments, supporting operational tasks, and ensuring accurate data entry and recordkeeping in line with agency processes and legislative requirements.
About the RoleThis is an APS3 Participant Support Officer position that requires previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, ideally within government or community services. The successful candidate must have strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
The key responsibilities include managing and resolving client matters by actioning tasks in accordance with relevant legislation and agency guidelines, providing counter and reception support, responding to client enquiries, and coordinating appointments. Other duties may include researching and preparing reports, completing data entry tasks, recording complaints and feedback, and contributing to a positive, client-focused culture aligned with agency values.
Mandatory Requirements- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, ideally within government or community services.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn agency systems and processes.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in documentation, data entry, and recordkeeping.
