Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Claims Coordinator to join the Sydney team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. With a competitive salary of $75k plus 11.5% superannuation and a 10% bonus, this position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to make an impact in the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and interpret policy information to assess claim eligibility.
- Ensure all claims are processed within the established service level agreements.
- Coordinate with medical professionals and external providers to gather necessary documentation.
- Communicate regularly with clients to update them on the status of their claims.
- Handle the financial aspects of claims, including processing payments and ensuring accuracy.
- Assist with internal claims processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the team.
Requirements
- Previous experience interpreting policy information to assess claim eligibility.
- Experience working with a Claims Management System and processing payments.
- Technical knowledge in policy application and claims administration.
- Strong analytical, project support, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Excel skills.
