Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Claims Coordinator to join the Sydney team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. With a competitive salary of $75k plus 11.5% superannuation and a 10% bonus, this position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to make an impact in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and interpret policy information to assess claim eligibility.
  • Ensure all claims are processed within the established service level agreements.
  • Coordinate with medical professionals and external providers to gather necessary documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to update them on the status of their claims.
  • Handle the financial aspects of claims, including processing payments and ensuring accuracy.
  • Assist with internal claims processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience interpreting policy information to assess claim eligibility.
  • Experience working with a Claims Management System and processing payments.
  • Technical knowledge in policy application and claims administration.
  • Strong analytical, project support, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Excel skills.
