Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Claims Administrator to join our rapidly growing team in Haberfield. As a Claims Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our claims team and ensuring that all claims are processed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile insurance transactions and ensure accurate payment processing.
- Send payment requests to accounts and maintain open communication with customers and third parties.
- Provide regular claim updates to customers and keep them informed of progress.
- Liaise with repairers to confirm repair progress and completion, ensuring timely resolution of claims.
- Upload new claims into the system, identifying any missing information and contacting insurers to verify details.
- Contact customers, third parties, and witnesses to collect evidence and support the claims process.
- Process vehicle tow requests and ensure prompt action is taken to resolve claims.
Requirements and Qualifications
- At least 1 year of administration experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused approach and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated individual who can work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of insurance principles and practices is advantageous.
- Proficient in using computers and learning new systems, with a willingness to adapt to changing requirements.
