Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Claims Coordinator to join the Sydney team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. With a competitive salary of $75k plus 11.5% superannuation and a 10% bonus, this position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to make an impact in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and interpret policy information to assess claim eligibility
  • Ensure all claims are processed within the established service level agreements
  • Coordinate with medical professionals and external providers to gather necessary documentation
  • Communicate regularly with clients to update them on the status of their claims
  • Handle the financial aspects of claims, including processing payments and ensuring accuracy
  • Assist with internal claims processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the team

Requirements

  • Previous experience interpreting policy information to assess claim eligibility
  • Experience working with a Claims Management System and processing payments
  • Technical knowledge in policy application and claims administration
  • Strong analytical, project support, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Excel skills
