Job Title: Finance and Payroll Specialist

Company Overview:
Career Employment Group Inc is currently seeking a skilled Finance and Payroll specialist to join their Head Office in Whyalla. This is a full-time position, working 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday). The role is part of the Corporate Service department, which provides accounting and payroll support to the entire organisation.

This is a multifaceted role, where you will contribute to the overall success of the finance division. As a Finance and Payroll Officer, you will use your customer service skills to provide exceptional support to internal and external stakeholders. To succeed, you will have excellent attention to detail, and an ability to undertake analysis of information.

If you have a passion for the finance and payroll industry but have not had significant experience, we would consider a traineeship option.

The key responsibilities of this role include:
  1. Undertake finance processes in all areas of accounting, including accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  2. Reconciliation of bank accounts.
  3. Organise creditor invoicing, payments, and allocations.
  4. Set up new starters in a payroll system.
  5. Payroll processing for weekly and fortnightly pay cycles.
  6. Assist with debtor management such as debt collection, report analysis, and statements.
  7. Assist with claims and reimbursements.
