Finance and Payroll Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled finance professional to join our team. This is a full-time position working 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

This role will involve contributing to the overall success of our finance division. As a finance and payroll officer, you will use your customer service skills to provide exceptional support to internal and external stakeholders.

If you have a passion for finance and payroll but lack significant experience, we consider a traineeship option.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake financial processes in all areas of accounting, including accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Organize creditor invoicing, payments, and allocations
  • Set up new starters in a payroll system
  • Process payroll for weekly and fortnightly pay cycles
  • Assist with debtor management, including debt collection, report analysis, and statements
  • Assist with claims and reimbursements
Requirements:
  • Minimum completion of Year 12 (or undertaking Accounting in year 12)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience using Xero, MYOB, or other accounting software
  • Quality customer service skills
  • Time management and prioritization skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and meet competing deadlines
  • Collaborative work environment and autonomy
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
