Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Reception desk, including greeting and registering guests, providing information on local attractions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Build, develop, and lead a team to promote high levels of customer service and achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient service delivery.
  • Monitor and analyze guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the overall guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Front Office department at a supervisory level, either as a Team Leader, Shift Supervisor, or Duty Manager (3 years).
  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems, Opera preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and active listening.
  • Detail-focused with an organized approach and ability to multitask.
  • Positive attitude, vibrant, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding expectations.
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bookkeeping/finance experience is highly regarded.
  • Immaculate presentation and grooming standards.
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and school and public holiday periods.
  • The capability to work in a fast-paced environment both as part of a team and autonomously.
  • Valid driver's license.
