Job Title

A systems integration specialist is sought to manage electrical design and supply scope packages from planning to delivery.

About the Role
  • Lead full-scope electrical design and supply packages to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and specification compliance.
  • Drive key design and supply activities of suppliers and interface with internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Delegate tasks to a multi-disciplinary project team and manage to ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and manage all aspects of electrical design and supply scope for large-scale projects.
  • Manage supplier deliverables and interrelated work sequentially and in accordance with contracts and project delivery dates.
  • Communicate outputs and guide action based on schedule, quality, and cost impacts, and mitigation of impacts and reporting as required.
  • Share regular progress reports with stakeholders and clients.
  • Resolve issues or delays, reduce the risk of delays, and prevent cost overruns.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management / Electrical Engineering; Professional Engineer is an advantage.
  • Experience in the procurement of electrical plant and equipment for large infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in quality coordination in the supply chain is desirable.
  • Sound experience in electrical design practices.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong project management expertise and experience in contract management and schedule interpretation.
  • Able to use initiative and solve problems through analytical thinking.
