Underground Ventilation Specialist Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining effective underground ventilation systems to ensure safe working conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop sustainable ventilation designs and execution plans.
  • Conduct ventilation surveys and implement testing procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise to support operational decision-making.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication abilities. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mining Engineering is highly preferred, along with proficiency in mine ventilation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mining Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in underground mining or tunnelling environments.
  • Proficiency in mine ventilation software (Ventsim or VUMA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid Driver's License, Passport, and White Card.

The selected candidate will demonstrate a commitment to health, safety, and sustainability, as well as the ability to travel to various worksites.
